Mechanism of action
Cagrilintide mimics amylin (fullness signalling) and semaglutide activates GLP-1 receptors (appetite, insulin release, slower stomach emptying).

What to expect
The CagriSema combination is in late-stage human trials. Nausea, vomiting and other GI effects are the most common reported side effects.
